Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Rural Carrier Associate to join our team.
As a Rural Carrier Associate, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to rural areas.
This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent driving skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a courier van or other designated vehicle to deliver mail and packages to rural areas - Follow assigned routes and adhere to delivery schedules - Load and unload mail and packages from the vehicle - Sort and organize mail and packages for efficient delivery - Collect outgoing mail and packages from customers - Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption - Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving - Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks
Experience:
- Previous experience as a courier, van driver, or in route driving is preferred - Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus - Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Note:
